Albums I've Been Digging on Lately and Highly Recommend

These album listed are pretty much the summation of the past couple of weeks in what Ive enjoyed listening to. Hopefully you'll find something you haven't heard before possibly. Either way Enjoy

Kreator "Phantom Antichrist" 2012

This is basically a understood staple of Thrash metal. Flawless

Gama Bomb "Tales from the Grave in Space" 2012

Another amazing Thrash Album this year (whether or you consider it Retro or not)

Napalm Death "Utilitarian" 2012

One of my Top 5 albums this year, worth listening to if your a fan of them. I will agree however that their new style present in the last couple of albums is more listener accessible. But with all good bands evolution of sound happens and it in no way disappoints.

If These Trees Could Talk "Red Forest" 2012

i would classify it in post-rock. For fans of Explosions in the Sky, This Will Destroy You.
they sound similar to them but i would say in some ways are more individual, worth a listen or two.

Beneath the Massacre "Incongruous"

Ive found that many people tend to overlook this band and say every song sounds the same. Either way in my opinion they bring it once again following up their previous effort "Dystopia" which was a full length and not the EP that came out in 2011

Marduk "Serpent Sermon"

This Album Is Fast as Ever for this Band. Worth listening to a couple of times if your into the genre

And but of course there are honorable mentions

Meshuggah "Koloss"

Torche "Harmonicraft"

In Mourning "The Weight of Oceans"

Ne Obliviscaris "Portal of I"

Wodensthrone "Curse"

Torture Chain "Time is But a Doorway to the incinerator"

Irreversible "Ashes"

Pallbearer "Sorrow and Extinction"

Addaura "Burning for the Ancient"

Fire in the Cave "S/T"

many more......
hope you enjoyed at least one of these. maybe if not all of them
